How it is calculated
First-year cost = monthly price on the 12-month term × 12 × number of plans. Each row is the provider’s cheapest shared or managed WordPress plan, so one row can be basic shared hosting and another a managed service.
The table stops at one year on purpose: many of these prices are first-term promotions and renewals can be several times higher, so multiplying them by years would give a false total. Taxes, paid domains and add-ons are not included. Providers without a price in our data are not in the table.
Frequently asked questions
Why is only the first year shown?
Hosting is often sold at a low first-term price. The renewal price can be several times higher and we do not hold it for every provider, so a multi-year total would mislead. Check the renewal price on the pricing page before you pay.
Why do some plans cost so much more?
They are usually managed WordPress services, while the cheapest rows are basic shared hosting. The services differ, so read what each plan includes on the company page before you compare by price alone.
Are a domain and tax included?
No. The table shows the plan price only. Whether the cheapest plan includes a free domain is shown on the company page, and tax depends on your country.
