Couriers and parcel delivery: rankings by country 2026
We compare the national post, express couriers and parcel-locker networks that private customers and small online shops use to send parcels, only on facts anyone can check in the official register and on the carriers' own websites: whether the company is listed in the national register of postal operators, how much it costs to send one domestic parcel of up to 2 kg at the published price (as a percentage of the country's reference price), whether it has its own parcel lockers, whether the base price includes insurance, whether it offers cash on delivery and international shipping, the delivery time it states itself and the App Store rating of its app. Every fact links to its source with the date we checked it. Customer reviews, complaint counts and media rankings are not used, and we do not test delivery ourselves. The ranking is not advice to choose a particular carrier. Places are not for sale.

Frequently asked questions
Which courier is the best?
The company in first place has the highest Score under our open methodology. This is not advice: look at what matters to you. If price matters most, sort by the price column; if you send at odd hours, look for parcel lockers; if the parcel is valuable, check what cover the base price includes.
Where does the data come from?
From the national registers of postal operators where they are public and readable, from the carriers' official price lists, terms and service pages, and from the App Store. Every fact links to its page with the date we checked it.
How do you compare prices between carriers?
We take the cheapest published retail price for a private customer to send one domestic parcel of up to 2 kg in the smallest standard size, including VAT and without time-limited promotions, and show it as a percentage of the country's reference price (the median of the prices we collected at launch). The original price is on the company card. Business contract rates are usually lower and are not compared.
Why don't you use reviews or delivery tests?
Reviews cannot be verified reliably, and the number of complaints grows with the number of parcels a carrier handles. We do not run our own test shipments either, so the Score uses only what is visible in the official register and on the carrier's own website.
Can a company buy a place in the ranking?
No. The Score is calculated with the same formula for every company. Paid placements, if they ever appear, will be a separate block labelled as advertising and never affect the Score.
