IT companies: rankings by country 2026

We compare IT services and custom software development companies only on facts readable on official sites and in public registers: year founded, registered legal entity with its number, stated headcount, ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and SOC 2 certificates, public case studies with named clients, partner status with a named vendor, open-source work, annual reports, a code of conduct, a privacy policy and contacts. Every fact links to its source with a check date. Proof of work weighs most: case studies and partnerships. We do not use reviews, paid award lists or scores from sites such as Clutch. The ranking does not assess the engineering quality of any team, and we do not verify stated figures. A fact missing from a site does not mean the company lacks it: we show "Not verified". Each country has its own market rules, so compare Scores only within a country. The Score is not for sale; paid placements, if any appear, will be a separate labelled block.

Frequently asked questions

What does first place mean?

The company in first place has the highest Score under our open method among companies in that country. It is not a judgement of its engineering and not advice to choose it.

Why do big companies score higher?

Experience and scale make up 20% of the Score, and larger companies more often hold certificates and publish reports. For a small project that is not necessarily an advantage: compare the facts that matter to you.

What counts as a case study with a named client?

At least three public examples of work where the client is named. Anonymous descriptions such as "a large retailer" do not count, although some clients may forbid being named.

Why are there no reviews or Clutch scores?

Reviews are hard to verify and places on paid lists are bought. We show only facts from official sites and registers.

Why is data missing for some companies?

If a fact was not found on the official site, or the site is closed to automated checks, we show "Not verified" and award no points. It does not mean the company lacks it.

Can I compare companies from different countries?

No. Registers, certificates and publishing habits differ, so the Score only makes sense within one country.
