Internet providers: rankings by country 2026
We compare home internet providers only on facts you can read on their official sites and at the telecom regulator: which connection types they sell (fibre, cable, DSL), the highest advertised speed, the price of the cheapest tariff of at least 100 Mbit/s, whether a tariff with no minimum term exists, whether installation costs money, whether contract terms are published, and whether there is an app or online account and round-the-clock support. Every fact links to its source and shows the date we checked it. Speed here means advertised speed: we do not use speed tests or reviews, and availability and price depend on your address. Prices are comparable only within one country, so compare Scores only within a country too. Score is not for sale; paid placements, if any appear, will be a separate labelled block.

Frequently asked questions
What does first place mean?
The first-placed provider has the highest Score under our open method among providers in that country. It does not mean it can connect your home or will be faster for you: check your address on the provider's site.
Why is the price shown as a percentage?
Prices cannot be compared directly across countries. So we divide the tariff price by the country's reference price: 100% equals the reference, 80% is a fifth cheaper. The original local-currency price is on the provider's card.
Why are there no speed tests?
We show only the advertised speed from published tariffs. Real speed depends on your address, equipment and time of day, and we would use measurements only if the regulator publishes them.
Why do some providers have no data?
If a fact is not on the official site, or the site is closed to automated checks, we show "Not verified" and award no points. Prices are often behind an address check, so that field can be empty.
Can I compare providers from different countries?
No. The reference price, the regulator and the set of providers differ by country, so the Score only makes sense within one country.
