How it is calculated
First-year cost = monthly price on annual billing × 12 × number of sites. Each row is the cheapest plan that lets you connect your own domain, so plans differ in page limits, shop features and templates.
We show one year only: a few prices are first-year promotions with a much higher price afterwards, so multiplying them by years would give a false total. Taxes and the domain itself are not included. Prices in other currencies are converted at the ECB rate shown on the company page. Builders without a price in our data are not in the table.
Frequently asked questions
Why is only the first year shown?
Some builders sell the first year at a promotional price and charge much more from the second year. A total over several years would not be comparable, so check the renewal price on the pricing page.
Is a domain included?
It depends on the builder and on annual billing. The company page shows whether the plan includes a free domain; if not, add the price of the domain yourself.
Does the cheapest plan include an online shop?
Often not. Shop features can start on higher plans, so if you sell online, check the plan on the company page. Shopify’s row is a plan for stores.
