Electronics and appliance stores in Spain 2026: a ranking built on verified facts
A ranking of Spanish chains and online stores that sell electronics and home appliances themselves, built only on verifiable facts from their official pages: the return period they state, whether the legal notice (aviso legal) names the company with its CIF or NIF and Mercantile Register entry, the year the business started, extended warranty, free delivery and from what order value, collection in their own shops and how many they state, financing or split payments, trade-in and the App Store rating of their app. Marketplaces where other sellers trade are not included. Every fact links to its source with the date we checked it. This is not advice to buy from a particular store. Places are not for sale.

Not ranked yet: not enough verified data
These services are known to us, but we haven't verified enough facts to rank them fairly.
- El Corte Inglés (site closed to automated checks, )
- Fnac España (site closed to automated checks, )
- MediaMarkt (site closed to automated checks, )
- PcComponentes (site closed to automated checks, )
- Worten (site closed to automated checks, )
Sites marked as closed refuse automated reading (403 error, captcha or a robots.txt ban). We don't bypass such protection, so we can't verify their facts and they are not ranked. This says nothing about their quality. A company can send links to its official pages to [email protected].
How we calculate the Score
25%
Reliability
Whether the website names the seller's legal entity with its registration number (in the imprint, contacts or public offer), and the year the store or its company started.
30%
Returns and warranty
How many days the store gives you to return an item of proper quality bought online (the more beyond the legal minimum, the better), and whether it sells an extended warranty beyond the manufacturer's.
25%
Delivery and pickup
Whether home delivery is free at least above a stated order value, whether an online order can be collected in the store's own shop or pickup point, and how many such places the store says it has.
20%
Payment and service
Whether you can pay in instalments or with consumer credit, whether the store takes old devices in part exchange (trade-in), and the App Store rating of its own app.
How to choose an electronics store
Check who the seller is
Look for the seller's legal entity and registration number in the imprint, contacts or public offer. On marketplaces, check which company actually sells the item: your rights are claimed from that seller.
Read the return rules before you order
For online purchases the law gives a minimum period to change your mind; some stores give more. Check from when the period runs, who pays for return postage and which goods are excluded.
Know the difference between warranty and statutory rights
The manufacturer's warranty is a voluntary promise. Your statutory rights against the seller for a faulty item exist anyway. An extended warranty is a separate paid service: read what it covers before buying it.
Compare the total cost of delivery and credit
Free delivery often starts from an order value or excludes large appliances, floor delivery and installation. For instalments, look at the total amount payable, not only the monthly payment.
Inspect the item on delivery
Check the box and the item for damage and completeness in front of the courier, and keep the receipt, the order confirmation and the warranty card.
Know where to complain
First send a written claim to the store. If it is not resolved, contact the national consumer protection authority or an approved dispute resolution body, and finally the court.
Frequently asked questions
How long do I have to withdraw from an online purchase in Spain?
Under Article 102 of the consolidated General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007), you may withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen calendar days without giving a reason. For goods, Article 104 counts the period from the day you, or a third party you named other than the carrier, take physical possession of them.
What if the store did not tell me about the right of withdrawal?
Article 105 says that if the trader did not give you the information on the right of withdrawal, the period ends twelve months after the end of the initial period. If the information is given within those twelve months, the period ends fourteen calendar days after you receive it.
When must the store refund me, and who pays for the return?
The trader must refund all payments, including the standard delivery cost, without undue delay and within 14 calendar days of being told of your decision (Article 107). You bear only the direct cost of returning the goods, unless the trader agreed to pay it or did not tell you that you would have to (Article 108).
How long is the store liable for a faulty item?
Under Article 120, the seller is liable for any lack of conformity that exists on delivery and becomes apparent within three years of delivery of goods. Under Article 121, a defect that appears within two years of delivery is presumed to have existed on delivery, unless proven otherwise.
Can I return a working item bought in a shop?
The statutory right of withdrawal in Articles 102 to 108 applies to contracts concluded at a distance or off business premises. Whether a shop takes back a working item bought in person depends on its own returns policy, so check it before you buy.
