How we rank: Email marketing services

The Score (0–100) is a weighted sum of the factors below. Each factor is the weighted average of its metrics; each metric is calculated from one published fact. Missing facts score zero, and a service is ranked only when enough of its Score is backed by facts.

A service is ranked only when at least 70% of its Score is backed by verified facts.

Price 30%

Monthly list price in USD of the cheapest paid plan that holds 1,000 contacts, with monthly billing: $0 scores 100, $60 or more scores 0 (weight 3). If plans are sold in list-size tiers, we take the tier that includes 1,000; if a plan is priced by emails per month with no contact limit, we take its lowest tier. Annual-billing discounts and first-months promotions are ignored. If the page shows the price only after a script runs, the fact stays empty. Also a permanent free plan (weight 2) and how many contacts the free plan allows, on a logarithmic scale up to 2,500 (weight 1).
