Not ranked yet: not enough verified data

These services are known to us, but we haven't verified enough facts to rank them fairly.

How we calculate the Score

35%

Terms

Minimum down payment, maximum contract term and early repayment. A lower down payment and a longer term score higher.

25%

Access

Whether the company leases to individuals and businesses, finances used cars, how fast it decides and how many products it offers.

25%

Reliability

Years on the regulator's register of leasing companies, membership of a banking group and the number of cities with offices.

15%

Transparency

Whether rates are published, and whether the official website has a payment calculator and an online application.

How we rank

How to choose a leasing company

  1. Check the licence or registration

Only companies on the regulator's register may offer leasing. The ranking shows the year each company was licensed or registered.

  2. Compare the total cost, not just the monthly payment

A low monthly payment often means a longer term and a higher total. Ask for the full schedule and add up what you will pay over the whole term.

  3. Check the currency and indexation

If the contract is tied to a foreign currency or a floating rate, the payment can change. Ask which currency the contract is in and what triggers a recalculation.

  4. Ask about insurance

Whether comprehensive cover is mandatory, whether you can choose the insurer and whether it is included in the payment noticeably changes the real cost.

  5. Check early buyout

Can you repay early, is there a fee and from which month? Each company profile shows whether early repayment is allowed.

  6. Remember who owns the car

Until the last payment the vehicle belongs to the leasing company: you cannot sell or re-register it without its consent.

Frequently asked questions

Which leasing company is the best?

The company in first place has the highest Score under our open methodology. The best choice for you depends on what matters most: for a low down payment look at Terms; if you are a business or want a used car, look at Access.

Where does the data come from?

From official sources: regulators' registers, leasing companies' own websites and public offer catalogues. Every number on the page links to its source and shows the date we checked it.

Can a company buy a higher place?

No. Every company is scored by the same formula. Paid placements, if we ever add them, will sit in a separate block labelled "Sponsored" and never change the Score.

Why is a company missing data?

If a company does not publish its terms, we do not invent numbers. Companies with verified facts for less than 60% of the methodology stay out of the ranking until the data appears.
